WebMD Patient Video — FAQ

Answers to common questions about producing high-quality medical and patient-story videos in Miami, South Florida, and nationwide.

How big is the on-set crew for a typical WebMD-style interview?
Usually a tight 2–3 person core crew (Director/Producer, DP/Camera, Gaffer/AC). We can add a makeup artist, stylist, or set decorator when needed.
Can clients review takes remotely during the shoot?
Yes. We offer a live video feed via Zoom so agency or brand teams can view framing, listen to audio, and give feedback in real time.
Do you handle location scouting?
Absolutely. We present 3–4 curated location options (clinic, hospital, office, or home) based on your creative brief, access, and HIPAA considerations.
What is a typical interview lighting setup?
A controlled, cinematic key with soft wrap, negative fill, and motivated backlight. We tailor contrast ratios to suit medical brand guidelines and subject comfort.
How do you protect patient privacy and consent?
We coordinate clear releases and align with client/clinic compliance needs. Sensitive discussions are staged privately; only essential crew is present.
What’s the turnaround time?
For one interview day: 7–14 days for a first cut is common. Faster is possible with rush fees. Multi-city campaigns add time for coordination and reviews.
Do you work only in Miami?
We’re based in Miami/South Florida but regularly produce nationwide. We staff trusted local crews and travel when specialized roles or equipment are required.
What deliverables are typical for medical stories?
A master edit (16:9), social cutdowns (1:1, 9:16), and captioned versions. We can also deliver stills pulled from camera originals for PR or thumbnails.
