Caldera Films is a director-led video production company with crews based in Houston and Miami. NAVIGATE 2024 is Revinate's annual conference for hospitality professionals, and we filmed it at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach: the stage sessions, interviews with speakers, drone footage of the hotel and b-roll of the event.
Our crews film conferences, brand events and corporate interviews on location across the U.S., from Houston and Miami to New York and Los Angeles, and cover live events such as Vogue Miami.
The Challenge. A multi-day conference runs on a fixed schedule. Sessions start on time, speakers take the stage once, and the people worth interviewing are in the building for only a short window, so the film has to be planned around the agenda without getting in the way of the event.
The Approach. We filmed the stage sessions, recorded one-on-one interviews with speakers in front of the hotel's large windows and on its terrace, and added aerial drone footage and b-roll of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach to give the edits a sense of place.
The Result. A library of ten films: a highlight film, three edited session films (a 25-minute panel discussion, a conference presentation and a soundbites film) and six speaker interviews.
