"Four flavor worlds. One shoot day. In-camera."
The Brief. Caldera Films partnered with Create, a wellness brand redefining how people approach daily health rituals, to produce a hero commercial spot and suite of social cutdowns featuring fitness entrepreneur Kendall Toole. The campaign needed to capture the energy and vibrancy of the brand across four distinct flavor worlds - all within a single shoot day.
The Approach. Create came to us with a clear vision: four bold, color-saturated environments - Orange, Lemon Lime, Blue Raspberry, and Watermelon - each representing a product in their lineup. The talent would move through choreographed sequences in each world, with the environments shifting tone and energy to match. The spots needed to feel premium enough for a national commercial rollout while staying authentic to the social-first DNA.
How We Made It
Pre-Production. We built the production around an LED volume stage in Miami, which allowed us to create all four color worlds in a single location without physical set rebuilds between looks. During prep, we extracted the exact Pantone color values from the brand guidelines and generated full-resolution LED wall test files to calibrate each environment before shoot day. Our art department designed and fabricated custom props and set pieces for each flavor world - from branded fitness equipment to styled product displays - all color-matched to the brand palette. Wardrobe was coordinated across four monochromatic looks to complement each environment while keeping the talent personal style intact.
Production. The shoot took place at an LED volume studio equipped with a curved wall and ceiling rig, allowing us to wrap the talent in fully immersive color environments with natural light interaction - no green screen compositing required. We shot on a full cinema camera package with a jib for dynamic overhead and sweeping movements. Each flavor world was lit to complement the LED output, with the gaffer and grip team making subtle adjustments between setups to maintain consistent skin tones across drastically different color temperatures. A dedicated photographer worked alongside the film crew, capturing a full library of stills for advertising and social channels.
Post-Production. We engaged a dedicated post-production house to handle the full editorial and finishing pipeline. Four days of editorial to shape the hero spot and social cutdowns, followed by a day and a half of color grading to dial in the saturated brand palette while keeping skin tones natural and consistent across all four worlds. Online finishing included VFX cleanup - floor reflections, wall seams, and minor set fixes that come with any LED volume shoot. Masters were delivered as uncompressed ProRes files with separate audio stems. A 4:5 vertical export was also produced for social media placement.
